Delete Your Account

You can request deletion of your Staccato Coffee account and all associated personal data using either of the methods below. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Option 1: Delete From Inside the App (Fastest)

This is the fastest path and completes within minutes.

  1. Open the Staccato Coffee app on iOS or Android.
  2. Sign in to your account.
  3. Tap Account in the bottom navigation.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm the deletion in the prompt.

Once confirmed, your account and the data tied to it are removed immediately, you are signed out, and the app returns to guest mode.

Option 2: Request Deletion By Email

If you don’t have access to the app — for example, you uninstalled it or can’t sign in — you can request deletion by email.

Send a message to:

privacy@staccatocoffeehouse.com

Include:

  • Subject line: Delete my Staccato Coffee account
  • Body: The email address associated with your Staccato Coffee account, and a sentence confirming you want the account permanently deleted.

We will process your deletion request within 5 business days and reply to confirm once it’s complete. We may ask one verification question (such as a recent order number or sign-up date) to confirm you own the account before proceeding.

What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed:

  • Your profile (name, email, phone number, avatar)
  • Your loyalty account (stars balance, lifetime stars, tier)
  • Your push notification token (so we can no longer send you order notifications)
  • Your saved favorites and preferences
  • Your sign-in credentials (you can no longer sign in with this email)

What May Be Retained

A small amount of data may be retained for legitimate operational reasons:

  • Order history records may be retained for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and regulatory compliance purposes (Texas requires merchants to keep transaction records). These records are anonymized — they no longer link to your name, email, or any identifier — within 7 days of account deletion, and are fully purged after the legally required retention period (typically 4 years).
  • Aggregated analytics (totals like “X orders placed in June 2026”) that don’t identify you may be retained indefinitely.
